“It is hard not to love the Perry Mason series on HBO. It is hard to listen to this review/recap of it. This podcast is definitely about murder. It murders the English language. It murders the knowledge of history. And murders any understanding of the original character development by Erle Stanley Gardner, as the hosts/commentators carry zero knowledge about the basis for the Perry Mason franchise. To be fair, it does cover and present appreciation and insight into the intricate details of the filmmaking. For some this may be passable listening because of the subject matter, but this is really just a group of guys sitting around talking about a TV show.”
