Sea, sun and surf- Australia seems like the ultimate place to live and work. Pharmacy is a flourishing profession & a lucrative pathway to migrate to Australia successfully. Most pharmacists in Australia practice within the community itself as retailers or work in hospitals  There are many reasons for overseas pharmacists to consider relocating to Australia: it is an English-speaking country, with beachside cities and pleasant weather, as well as an outdoorsy lifestyle. However, moving overseas can be a costly and lengthy process, so it is important to consider several factors when making a decision. Today's episode we catch up with Nikki- a pharmacists, originally from Ireland. Nikki shares her journey from the UK to Australia, including the multiple hurdles she faced en-route to obtaining her full practicing license and permanent residency.
