Informative!
Having casually studied Filipino history, it is always fascinating to hear stories of home. It is a joy. I’m not in any position to evaluate this podcast’s academic credentials, but it is entertaining and informative. However, the author and the presenter should refrain from quips and varying voices and “quote-unquote”. They are distracting, annoying, and pedestrian. The presenter’s quips cause me to roll my eyes, the varying voices are unfunny and “quote-unquote” sound like fillers to what can be an otherwise outstanding presentation. The material is entertaining and informative as it is. The extras are unnecessary adornments that make our beautiful Filipino history look cheap. I look forward to a listening to a better-written second season.

I’m so glad I found this podcast. It’s a great deep dive into a history that is not well covered in English. Thanks to the host for taking the time to create this! I highly recommend
