Other Worlds Other Sounds: Weirdo BEATLEMANIA!
Listen now
Description
WEIRDO BEATLEMANIA Do you LOVE THE BEATLES? or… maybe you HATE them? This is not ortodox Beatlemania, ok? Since many years ago the Beatles stuff I'm more interested in is all kind of rare miscellany, outtakes, free experiments from the pyschedelic years, and also the weirdest covers of their songs. This will be the first of a series of Weirdo BEATLEMANIA Mixtapes. Here you can find, among other things, rarities from the bootlegs 'The Lost Pepperland Reel', the 'Magical Mystery Demos' and covers taken from the magnificent 4 Volumes of Exotic Beatles (http://www.exoticarecords.co.uk/beatles.html) with the most bizarre versions of (and about) The Beatles, from all around the world! For the end, maybe… the rarest Beatles track ever?? The ULTRA RARE and hard to find (thanks Dr. Onan) take 3 of Helter Skelter, a hellish 27 minute version where the band played through a tape echo. Listening with headphones, you can't recognize the song… LOL. The result is somethin' like Spacemen 3 having their WORST TRIP ever. The Beatles - All Together On The Wireless Machine (Paul on the BBC 25.11.67) Tsunematsu Masatoshi - Nowhere Man The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (alternate version) The Beatles - Magical Mellotron Music William Shatner - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Frank Sidebottom - Flying The Wilson Malone Voice Band - Penny Lane No artist - We Love The Beatles The Beatles - Chi Chi's The Beatle Barkers - A Hard's Day Night Ena Baga - Can't Buy My Love The Beatles - Mellotron Music no. 4 The Beatles - What a Shame, Mary Jane Les Surfs - There's a Place The 52 Key Verbeek Fairground Organ - In My Life The Beatles - It's All Too Much (long version) The Beatles - Sing the Hare Krishna Mantra The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band Crowd noise extended The Beatles - Helter Skelter Take 3 (27 minutes version)
