Description
Mother of two Amy Lee, who kept a starved husky in an emaciated state in her flat in Dublin, has been given a lifetime ban on owning pets. The DSPCA told the court that when they first saw the dog she was “in an underweight, neglected condition and as a result of this was suffering unnecessarily”.The judge after viewing the emaciated photos of the dog said, "“shame on you”. Her solicitor said, her client, who is expecting a child, bought Sky for her family. However, she had suffered health problems and moved back in with her mother but “left the dog behind and was there on an off”. She was fined €100. Many people have now questioned whether she should be allowed look after her children and her expectant child. With some saying, if you neglect a dog then you shouldn't be allowed look after children. Are the two related? Would you worry for the welfare of this woman's children?
