Msg from Andy: "Keith, It should be illegal to video gardaí while theyre on duty. I’m sick of people posting their edited, one sided videos of incidents and drumming up outrage. The only thing they want is their 15 minutes of online fame. You’ve seen the video I’m on about that happened in Longford. A 60 second clip doesn’t inform anyone of what happened. Why was the garda called out in the firstplace? How long had this confrontation been going on? What dont we see? Was the garda there on his own? Who else was being threatened? You can’t answer those questions watching that video, or any other edited one that goes online. People should stand 100% behind our gardaí, the s**t they deal with on a daily basis is disgraceful. Subjecting them to a torrent of online abuse from a jury of poxy keyboard warriors doesn’t do anyone any favours."  Should it be illegal to video gardai on duty? Can you trust videos posted online of serious incidents, when they don’t give a full picture of the incident?
