“Hi guys first ily both and love what you share 💕 am currently listening to the latest ep regarding the mental health system and although it’s extremely flawed I disagree with the comment that it is over funded. Many of the cons mentioned are outcomes of being underfunded. Yes, capitalism of course is in the way of a fully sustainable and successful system. We want nothing to do with those profiting from the system (hospital CEOs ect.) Many MH practitioners are advocating for less law enforcement involvement. (Ex: Crisis mobile units with social workers rather than cops showing up). As I said I’m still listening I’m currently at 55min in but it was a tad belittling to the SW/ MH community that does sm advocating to make the system better and safer. Esp on the policy level. It’s also very important for people with more serious cases of MI to have access to medication. For some people this system saves lives! Hopefully it’ll continue to grow, and yes there are awful sides I completely disagree with!”
