“Hi from a long-time listener in Melbourne, Australia - home of legendary punters Darren Bennet and Michael Dickson (who was totally snubbed for 2020 Pro Bowl btw - have you seen his stats? He influences games!). Firstly I really love the show and listen to every episode so thanks!
My Question: Can you please discuss the future of the quarterback position in relation to running quarterbacks and using multiple quarterbacks? Sean Paton seems to be blazing the trail here and it seems to me the Ravens would be far better off using Lamar as a running quarterback on say 50% of snaps and draft a veteran throwing quarterback to take the rest of the snaps and make throws to tight-ends and WRs. They could use the vet QB to manage the game late and when they need long throws. They could also use Lamar as a traditional running back on some of those plays. The Saints could do the same thing by using Winston to throw and Tysom Hill to run. Could most teams be doing this in a few years?
Cheers and go Las Vegas Raiders!!”
