“I like all the Nuggets media but Blackburn is my favorite. He has a more sophisticated knowledge of the game and shares objective critiques when the team struggles. I’m blown away, too, that he seems to know every NBA player’s name and what they do and don’t do well. And because the dulcet tones of his voice put my wife to sleep, she often requests we listen to Pickaxe & Roll at bedtime and is a huge fan.
I do wish he’d analyze the rest of the league more and assess the opposing team a bit longer as well, especially the other contenders. His predictions of lineup changes are also hilariously unreliable, but predicting that Michael Malone will adjustment to bad play is a fool’s errand. I’m good with the wishful thinking.”
