Faves For a Reason
I love everything about Planners and Wine. Meg and Myra speak about pop culture and entertainment sometimes. However they bread and butter is that are both powerful Black voices in the planner community. Oftentimes, Black and Brown women are asked to accept the bare minimum when asking to be considered in the planner community, or worse… not considered at all. They speak for many of us and use their platform to spread awareness and to let folks know what the real is. I can also say one episode of P&W made me change my mind about some preconceived notions I had about a specific notebook company. However an interview with Bonnie of A&O changed my perspective a lot and I’ve even purchased from the her now. All this to say not only do Meg and Myra talk about real issues but they bring necessary spotlight to folks doing important work in our community and you should give them a listen.
