Let. Guests. Speak!
Scott - I like you. I like your takes. That’s why I’m giving the podcast 5 stars. I like it. But you HAVE TO allow your guests to speak. It’s painful to listen to how (presumably unintentionally) rude you are to your guests by making point after tangent-fueled point rather than just having a conversation or, as good show hosts do, asking questions and listening to your guests’ answers. Case in point, on Episode 537 (Jets Mailbag, Part 1, 5/15/2020), you start the show by welcoming Chris Nimbley to the show (at the 1:30 mark) but then, without allowing him to even say hello, you go off on a tangent for 3 minutes and 15 seconds (!!!) before finally allowing your guest to speak (at the 4:45 Mark!!!). I was honestly surprised Nimbley was still on the line when you stopped yapping. Otherwise, keep up the good work. Great content.
