Get a therapist
During the first show I listened to, a listeners question, one that is asked frequently, how do I get over the feeling of being judged and comparing myself to others? His response: get a therapist. Now, he rolled on into a long winded explanation on how he had similar feelings, experiences, gave advice, but at least 3 more times kept mentioning get a therapist. Instead of relating with “that’s a good question, I too have had and grown from similar feelings” he thought his off the cuff remark was a good way to start an answer. Art is vulnerability. And although you need to put yourself out there to be seen as artists, a person of Paul’s stature in the art world could have more effectively answered the question.

What a great interview this is. I have greatest respect for Jay who will get up at any hour and go any location in the most extreme cold to get the visual materials he desires. Jay shared some valuable insights on the subject of edges and color relationships and more. Be sure not to miss this...Read full review »
