“If you know animal crossing then you know that the game can be a lot less casual than it lets on at first glance. Some of The community around the game, podcasts, and message boards online can feel daunting to someone returning after a long hiatus from the series. What they’ve managed to do here though is create a charming and casual feeling podcast that welcomes all. I say “casual feeling” because in between the fun banter and random singing (which is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of the show)there is a lot of great information and tips thrown in. Questions are brought up that I’ve seen asked before in other animal crossing communities and were greeted with “that’s pretty standard how don’t you know this...etc”, but here they take the time to answer it without making you feel like you should have known it to begin with. The only change I’d make is that I’d love some longer episodes just because it’s so enjoyable. Easy 5 stars for me for both the show and for the community you’ve built around it.”
