“I’m a Crooked Media fan, but the last year or so I’ve been so incredibly disappointed, and honestly embarrassed, by their terrible ability to report on climate change. There have been a number of instances of inaccurate reporting on things related to climate — so blatantly misrepresented that it was clear they read one headline and that was it. Also, the Pod Save guys can barely talk climate. It’s like their one blind spot. Their episodes around the IRA etc were downright cringy. And now we’re learning that they squashed Hot Take? I’m so disappointed and honestly just don’t get it. Climate change is only getting worse and it’s not going away. So why wouldn’t Crooked try to get better at reporting on it and even motivate individuals to act (like they have on so many other pressing issues)? Incredibly disappointing to learn about this side of their business. Truly thought they were the “good guys” if you will. But it seems like it is just all politics with this company.”
