“It’s not about race. A single issue, utopian answer to an extremely complex question is unhelpful at best.
Consider the socio economic status of first and second generation black immigrants from India in recent years. Consider the police shootings of rural white Americans, both in absolute numbers as well as a percentage of all police shootings. Consider the economic status of 95% of all victims of police shootings in the last 5 years. Consider the increase in police shootings in rural white areas as opposed to the actual decrease among the urban black population.
Want to see change? Legal System Reform. Regulatory Reform. End the War on Drugs. Demilitarize the police and the economy. End the war on poverty.
Boiling it down to a “racist white supremicist society” is harmful because it does bot address the real issues that actually effect us all.”
