“I really enjoy this podcast when the whole group is together. I particularly enjoy Niia, but unfortunately as the seasons go on, it’s increasingly Vik by himself. I find him to be really annoying with the incessant basketball references, some of his descriptions of female characters on the show, his insistence on calling Tony “T”, and constant exclamation of “Ohhh!!!” all the time as if he’s Paulie or something. I find the podcast falls a flat when Vik is by himself. To me the Sopranos merits multiple perspectives and benefits from a conversational approach to analysis. I thought at least for the final season, particularly the final episodes that he’d get the group together to do it justice. Instead he’s by himself. Really a bummer. It’s still interesting to listen to, but I really find it kind of pointless without the group of 3 discussing things.”
