Something Different, Something Good
I miss Bill, I really do. The rapport he established with Godfrey was a perfect mix of the stat nerd and the jaded insider coming together to find something joyful in CFB. That being said I don’t share the aversion to PAPN v2.0 that some other reviews do. Richard is a fresh voice with a unique perspective that two middle class gen X white dudes simply didn’t have, and I think bringing on Bud was a great idea. It’s a way to still engage with the numbers side of things from a new POV, and now that sports betting is legal nationwide it’s also quite relevant. I’m still learning things from these dorks, so I call it a win. PAPN 2.0 is a new twist on the formula that’s still finding it’s sea legs, but I’m really excited to see where they go with it.

A great podcast for college football even and especially in the offseason. Uses advanced stats metrics to talk about college football more on outside of the top 25 and P5 conferences. Some of the best shows they do relate to recruiting and coaching searches in the off-season.
