“¡Te recomiendo Hoy Hablamos! I have been self-learning Spanish for about 3 years. That means lots of reading and writing, but no exposure to spoken Spanish. Most podcasts are above my level. The language is spoken too fast, too colloquial, and with pronunciation that I can’t quite make out! Hoy Hablamos is a podcast for learners at this level. I am able to keep up and understand enough that it keeps my interest without “losing me”. It “tunes my ears” in an enjoyable way. A written transcript is available (gratis) and this is a big plus.
