“Maybe I started out with the wrong episode but was recommended this podcast by a substack writer I enjoy. Episode 5 was…. Really sad?
I couldn’t tell if it was performance art or just some drama or an actual moment but when sheila and her brother talked about their partners…. It sounded like Sheila’s partner is basically abusive? I had to listen to it several times because it was so jarring and so strange. It was very sad to hear her try and justify the relationship and the way she was being treated. Her brother clearly doesn’t like him. Again I’m not sure if this podcast is a mix of fiction and nonfiction but if it’s fiction……. This is from someone who has been there: just leave him. He sounds like a total insecure, jerk.”
