“I don’t know where to begin. I had the idea to get my girlfriend a camera for Christmas. I talked to her about it, and it came around full circle to us both just getting cameras instead. She has always taken UNCOMFORTABLY good pictures with her iPhone. A friend of ours actually made her profile picture one that my girlfriend shot on her iPhone the day of her wedding. And then there was me, who, a decade ago had a Nikon d40. I had gotten rid of it cause I needed money. I remember thinking I’d come back to photography, but it kind of just never happened. I have always had that kind of photographer’s mindset when shooting a photo, but never really pursued it past some pictures with my phone.
Anyways, that’s our back story, and now that we are both equipped with some DSLRs (from around the time of my d40, for cost purposes.) I have been actively seeking any and all photography related content I can consume! And I have to say, you have made my commutes feel so much more valuable! We would love to venture into making a business out of this, and you, and your guests, have been such an invaluable resource in planning for that. From questions I’ve had, to ones that I haven’t, it just seems like there’s answers left and right each episode. When I get a little further into my journey, there’s no doubt I’ll be going premium.
