“I listened to TMOS from the day they started, and for years I never missed a show. I even used to re-listen to episodes multiple times regularly. I bought the bonus show, and the fruit cakes. I was a P1, hands down. There came a point, however, where the guys stopped doing topical comedy openers utilizing the impressions and characters that Mike is known for and started arguing about in-house issues like lighting, microphone cords, audio levels being wrong, “the send” never being set right. This show has slowly evolved into a podcast centered around complaining about BTS stuff that doesn’t actually impact how the show sounds, looks, or is distributed. TMOS used to lift my spirits and provide levity to my day. When I occasionally listen to an episode now, it’s more of the same — complaining and in-fighting. I will remember the first 6 years of TMOS fondly, but the current version is a far cry from entertaining.”
