“Love hearing these Australian stories from the officers who worked on the cases. Some amazing stories and really interesting without having to go straight for the exhausted stories in Australia’s history.
HOWEVER
1. Please get rid of the production value. The “coming up next” - “last time...” and the ridiculous music playing in the background for dramatic effect. I feel like I’m listening to an episode of who wants to be a millionaire.
2. Merrick, mate - not a bad job considering you’re a washed up comedian and I mean that seriously. I really feel that a former law enforcement official would make the podcast better but for the most part I didn’t mind. UNTIL THE FREAKIN MICHAEL HUTCHENCE PODCAST. To ask over and over about whether the forensics officers were star struck (not in so many words) and then when they try to avoid the question or continue talking about the job you constantly bring it back up like you couldn’t believe they didn’t ask for his autograph. I’d listen to every episode back to back but That was the point I got annoyed and turned it off.”
