Needs a lot of work
I lost count of the number of times the interviewer established that (a) there was a body at the scene; and (b) it was the body of Michael Hutchence on the ground at the scene. The questions were insipid, repetitive and tedious. This episode could have been a conversation about how police officers handle suicides generally as well as the inherent difficulty in dealing with a high profile case. Instead, it was an insensitive dissection of a man’s death. The theatrics (cheap, dramatic soundtrack and echoed vocals) made for a poorly produced podcast with little substance. This show has a promising premise. The police officer obviously has many insights to share but this was totally lost on the interviewer. Shame.

Sorry guys. Just doesn’t do it for me. It’s like sallow depth.

I’m not sure if the producers of this show have listened to crime pod casts before but this was just poor. I feel for the poor detective who had to endure the hosts questions. Literally designed for the lowest common denominator.
