Political Beats is a Must for Rock Music Lovers
This is a great podcast and if you love music it’s must listen. It’s one of my favorites for my daily exercise! I love that it gets me to re-examine some of my favorite artists and go back and listen to music that I haven’t listened to in years. I don’t always agree with their assessment, but they do get me thinking and I sometimes see songs and albums in a new light. Most of the time they do a great job of really going into depth and following the career of an artist, although some of the older shows were shorter and they didn’t get into near as much detail. It’s hard for me to listen to those older, shorter shows because of this. My only two complaints about the shows are that they will spend a lot of time on certain albums and then blow through 2 or 3 and lump them together and I wish they wouldn’t do that. Also, the more I listen, I have to admit that they can sometimes be a bit pretentious and dismissive of some music and artists, especially Jeff-I could do really do without this.

By listening to this podcast I have discovered...Read full review »

I look forward to new episodes of this great podcast on music. Just a couple of guys, and most of the time a guest, who are not only passionate about the music they talk about, but also knowledgable about their subjects. Everything from Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Band to R.E.M. and...Read full review »
