On the 22nd of October, the Dáíl voted on a Bill to “seal” the records gathered by the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes. The Seanad passed the Bill the next day. This new legislation caused quite the controversy, causing an uproar on social media and within the Oireachtas.
