I’ve been thinking about the introduction of a form of National Service for our 18 - 20 year olds for some time. Watching this woke generation who are so spoilt I think they would really benefit from learning discipline, comradeship, loyalty to country and outside activities - all transferable skills for later life. Young people are flailing… lost in phone addiction - and not focussed on work and their future careers. It’s so sad to witness…
The disgusting behaviour we are seeing at the Universities is indicative of what the future holds. Who is going to employ these ignorant half-wits? Who has been teaching them?
Skills like money management (Mortage, Bank account) should be taught at school. The concept of saving money is also such an important thing to point out
