Work on production quality, ditch the format
I was so excited for this podcast! The current format just throws me off. The title and description are almost entirely dedicated to the podcast’s lead, but it after just 15 minutes, it switches to another random subject that makes little sense. If you keep the format, add better transitions. I think this podcast goes out of its way to separate itself from Up First, The Daily, and even Today, Explained. Focus on the qualities that the Post has that separates itself from NYT and NPR, and let THAT be the difference. Don’t force the difference, show the difference.

More reviews of Post Reports
Finally good to see a Washington Post podcast. It’s still better to read the actual articles, but this is a nice way to engage with your top notch journalism when it’s inconvenient for me to read.

Excellent reporting on wide variety of interesting topics.

Most recent episode about forestry practices was poorly reported and not in accordance with best practices. I’ve been involved in the public forestry industry for many years, and your “expert” was not an expert. Do better.
