Big issues, Big perspectives
Brian is scholar who holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and has extensive field experience across the world. His work is fascinating and ambitious in nature. He able to weave global stories together in an incisive and coherent fashion. Moreover, he is also adept at linking these stories to the political situation in the United States. At a time where autocratic leaders, from Manila to Mar-o-Lago, are undermining democratic institutions, Brian offers a thoughtful and informed commentary from a global perspective. It is a MUST listen!

If someone has 15 to 20 thousand dollars US to pay to be smuggled to another country then you can’t reasonably say they’re escaping poverty. Smuggling people is a cash up front business. Other than that was a very interesting show.
