As co-founder and award-winning CEO of creative technology company Zebrar, Simone Clow has been on a mission since 2017 to push the boundaries of what’s possible. After a long career in advertising and visual effects in London and New York (Saturday Night Live, HBO), I was managing a Sydney VFX studio, working on VFX shots for feature film Hacksaw Ridge. The job and team she had built were fantastic but felt her use-by date as a woman in the production industry was closing in.Determined to control her own exit she left her job for a year producing experiential content for motor shows around the world and found her purpose and a great second act in unexpected circumstances.A virtual reality team she worked with convinced her to don a VR headset in 2016 which she thought was for young gamers and it transformed her thinking and created a new business.
