On the one week anniversary of coming home from the hospital, I am struggling to accept the events in the hospital, but also awakening to the oddity of having brought a daughter into the world....but not yet into the arms of my parents, aunts, cousins and massive family. I feel like she has yet to truly enter the world. And I’d underestimated what my Village means to me.
