Pomerantsev compares Vladimir Putin’s tactics to those of Hitler who demonized and dehumanized Jews and other minorities to justify his campaign of violence and extermination. Putin’s regime employs similar propaganda in relation to Ukraine and its people as well as falsely blames the West and NATO for the destruction and death it has wrought in Ukraine.
