World’s most incompetent cops vs Elder Gods— who ya got?!?
This fun actual play is a pretty fair representation of what would happen if the Super Troopers faced off against Cthulhu. Most of the plot itself is squarely in the realm of horror, but our goofball protagonists often manage to screw up sufficiently to turn scenes comic. I’m about 20 episodes in, and it’s honestly still up in the air what poses a greater threat to the citizens of the town: the eldritch horrors or the well-meaning but trigger-happy cops. Let’s just say they aren’t super strong on the 4th and 5th Amendments. Lots of fun to listen to with very good table chemistry, and a strong focus on plot/mystery over the 45 minute dice-rolling combat sessions that I often find boring in other actual plays.

I highly recommend giving...Read full review »

I started this podcast recently and instantly feel in love with the setting and story. Very spooky, very funny and the friendship of the cast shines through out. Very excited to see where the show goes :D
