“I absolutely love this podcast. I just discovered it last week and I’m lucky enough to be able to have headphones at work so I binge it all day!!! I actually only have 8 episodes then I’m caught up, I’m not sure what I’m gonna do when I have to wait a whole week for a new episode.
Thank you all for being so open and vulnerable. I have recommended this podcast to so many already. My twin sister is a recovering meth addict and has been on/off since 17 (were now 34), currently she is 18 months sober and we’re incredibly proud of her but we also know the journey is just beginning. I have learned so much about addiction that I didn’t know or didn’t think of it that way and it’s been eye opening. I’ve also, thanks that’s to your podcast, decided to actually start going to al-anon meetings to get a better understanding of her addiction and how to best be there for her during her recovery and not be quick to jump to assumptions when something is a smidge “off”, and I don’t automatically assume she’s using again.
