“Hey Stephen and “the other guy”, love the show and your geeky fun banter. Been listening since you guys launched. Always a highlight of my week. You guys are very personable, down to earth, and the discussion always makes me feel like you’re talking WITH me rather than TO me. Keep up the great work.
Battery percentage on…it doesn’t take up any additional real estate than having it off would, and it offers more information at a glance than having to swipe somewhere else, so why no? But of course, it depends on your workflow. I’m often on the move around my office building, running to meetings, squeezing in a quick bio break when I can, then rushing home, or to the gym, etc. so seeing the % at a glance is reassuring to know if I’m getting close to a low charge.
Lastly, I’d love to support you guys with the subscription plan, but with 8 streaming service subscriptions, an Apple One family plan, a yearly plan for a couple apps (Copilot finance, TickTick, etc), a Wondery podcast subscription, etc. I’m needing to cut back and gauge cost vs. value. The thing I’m having a hard time justifying is what I pay and get for a Wondery podcast subscription ($44.99/year) which covers a suite of podcasts vs the plan you guys offer for 1 podcast at a higher price ($49.99/year). This isn’t meant as a critique. I’m curious if you can speak to how you guys think through the business model you’re intending to create with your subscription pricing, and how you reconcile that relative to other pricing and value offered in the market. Would love to hear about the inner workings of the business side as you build up your brand and listener base. Thanks!”
