Finally, the truth
I’ve been in the publishing industry, one way or another, for 15 years. It’s been bewildering and often disappointing — tons of back room deals, cronyism and the cynical gameification of literature. Up until Print Run, no one said it. The emperor walked around in a garbage bag and everyone bowed down. But Erik and Laura, two incredibly smart and brashly honest new players, tell it like it is. They deconstruct all the bad strategies and pitfalls of publishing — but they do it with humor and wit and a genuine affection for good writing. Everyone who is writing, editing or reading could verify from this clear-thinking inside look.
