Loving and Releasing Friendships

Description
We are all familiar with the phrase “for a reason or a season,” this may be applicable to many things in life but for people especially. Concerning friendships, these are the relationships which give us the greatest rewards as well as losses. Determining which ones are worth and actually MEANT to be longer than a season is paramount to your growth. We have to realize that just because we love someone does not mean that they are meant to be held onto. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for a person is to let them go. If you are outgrowing the people in your life, the conversations being had, the experiences being shared then let them go. It doesn’t have to be a bitter end but it does in fact have to end, everything does at some point.. If holding on is causing you pain and hardship then that is a clear sign that it’s time. Letting go doesn’t mean you stop caring or you stop praying for them it just means you have enough discernment to see that it’s time for some space. Maybe one day you may be able to rekindle the relationship or maybe not but calling it quits before it gets to a toxic place will grant you that option. Remember: always accept people for where they are on their own journey, but that does not mean you have to adhere to their terms. Stay safe babes 🥂🤎✨
