Description
After living in New York when I was 18, I always looked up to Matte Projects. They produce incredible work, including producing shows with Bottega Veneta, James Blake’s latest tour and my personal favourite, the Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix. Today, in a full circle moment, Creative Director of experiential at Matte Projects, Kate Roberts joins me on the podcast to talk about creating unique brand experiences. Kate shares how Ai plays a part in unique experiences, working with the incredible Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin, how the process of pitching works, and helping hotels become the new ‘it’ spot for Met Gala after-parties. Kate and I bond over both attending theatre and acting school, and discuss how we keep up with trends and new creative ideas to surprise clients and their guests at events. To learn more about Matte Projects, head to their website or check them out on socials. To connect with Kate, find her on LinkedIn.
