It’s also 5:42 AM and the coffee hasn’t kicked in yet, but to my ears, the host needs a voice coach so she is not so screechy. I assume she is going for an energetic, but her performance vocals sound harsh and unpleasant, like somebody trying to get a bartenders’ attention in a trendy downtown micro-brew.
In this case, two strikes and I’m done. I’ll go back and listen to the audiobooks again.
