I have a very, very simple question to ask you: What do you want? It seems like an easy question to answer, right? But does it feel easy…or were you surprised by how difficult it was to come up with a “good” answer? That’s our problem right there: instead of tuning in and actually listening to our own wants, we judge ourselves for them instead. “I can’t have that because I wasn’t raised in a wealthy family.” “I can’t have that because I never graduated college.” “I can’t have that because I’m not as smart as that person.” The “I can’t have that, because” could be ANYTHING. But the fact is, none of those things are true…and it’s time we remembered what it’s like to dream without limiting ourselves.
