Dedicated prospect pod
Baseball podcasts often treat prospects as a throw away subject, suitable only for last round fliers. ‘Prospect One’, however, gives the prospect prime time billing. Prospects are the shows #one, #two and #three priority. Anyone in a dynasty league, or a redraft league, or anyone who wants to know about their teams prospects and doesn’t care about fantasy will benefit and enjoy this show. “Prospect growth isn’t linear” and “don’t make up your mind based on the stat line alone” is a truism of minor league development and is one of the major takeaways I’ve had from this show. The Welsh does a great job of covering a players raw stats but his main focus is on first hand accounts. He has seen every player in the Arizona Fall League this year and posts great clips on his twitter account @isitthewelsh (yes, it is The Welsh). In the Prospect game it’s important to get a sense of how a player looks out on the field and The Welsh has great access and great insights. I highly recommend you subscribe to this podcast and check out the ‘In This League’ range of podcasts (Baseball, football, basketball, hockey) as well as join the ITL Army, a community of Fantasy Sports fans, where a contribution of as little as $1 a month can secure you access to secret shows, rankings, listener leagues. As independent podcasters The Welsh and Bogman deliver amazing content with humor and style. They deserve your support.

More reviews of Prospect One
The Welsh knows his stuff. He also tends to be entertaining at the same time unlike some other podcast shows that are very blah. You can tweet to him and he replies on Twitter or will read your prospect question on the show. I highly recommend his show and becoming a member.

My favorite prospect show, rare to find this kind of podcast as it is. I absolutely love and enjoy this show. Thank you!

Way better than the mlb pipeline podcast because they don't waste their time with interviews and it's about an hour long with great information about MLB prospects not high schoolers like MLB pipeline. This is the only prospect podcast that you should be listening toRead full review »
