He graduated from medical school in Thailand, and then general surgery residency in Providence Hospital and Medical Center, and plastic surgery residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. He then completed two fellowships - craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery at Washington University in St Louis, followed by microsurgery at the Ohio State University. He then joined the faculty at Beaumont Health where he has been pushing the boundaries of reconstructive surgery ever since. He instituted the integrated craniomaxillofacial and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship there in 2017, and serves as the Program Director. He has won multiple awards at the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery including two Best Case awards and three Best Save awards. His practice is broad and head to toe, focus on reconstructive microsurgery of the head and neck, breast, and extremity, as well as pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery.
