“It’s becoming harder and harder for me to enjoy this show. Maybe it’s my age. Maybe it’s my family and work priorities. Maybe it’s my gaming habits. Maybe it’s a combination of 2 or more of these things I’ve mentioned. The point is, I cannot derive enjoyment from listening to them as I once did. I skip shows now, and fast forward and even put the podcast in fast speed when listening to them. I understand they enjoy what they do and I am glad they get to do this and other gaming-related activities for a living.
I just can’t click anymore. I can’t see myself in their shoes anymore. I think this podcast is great for younger audience and those within the influencer/YouTube/patroon/media community. I know it’s a podcast about video games but their lives revolve way too much on this. They want to raise money, they play video games. They want to enjoy life, they play video games. They are down and feeling the blues, they play video games. They have to take a dump, they play video games. They are bored, they play video games. They don’t get a game code to play for free, they’ll complain while playing video games.”
