Excellent authors
I am giving this podcast 5 stars despite the fact that there are many stories here that I’m not a fan of. But the writing is way above most scary podcasts. My tastes go toward spooky stories with more psychological scares than graphic ones. The spooky, eerie stories on this show are excellent. I also enjoy the host, Alastair Stuart. He is so sincere, and his trigger warnings that caution listeners to turn off the podcast if it is too disturbing (it is a horror show after all - why we need to be warned about this is a puzzle to me) are very clever. Thank you for a great podcast.

I'm a huge fan of Pseudopod, and it's sister cast Escape pod. I love short stories and I think it's awesome that these guys are trying to keep the genre alive.Read full review »

This podcast provides consistent and challenging, sick, disturbing, sometimes funny, sometimes just chilling horror. Not all of it is to my tastes but the quality of the writing and narration cannot be ignored. Not safe for work but essential if you like to feel ice fingers down your spine.
