“Tyler and Korey are both hilarious but this thing they produce feels less like a podcast and more like a phone call between friends who haven’t slept in a day and are so tired they are incoherent and giggly and nothing they say makes sense, but with ads. Which if that’s what you want, cool!
I just personally wish there was more structure/a better flow to the episodes but this seems like a pretty low energy/low effort project for them, so it is what it is I guess.
I would also add that a lot of it feels like ads to get involved in Tyler’s other stuff, mostly Twitch since that seems to be all he does now. (Please stop mentioning the slack! I don’t want to join!) Gaming isn’t my jam and I wish they put more effort into podcasting because they are both super funny.
This podcast is good every once in a while for a break from news/true crime/whatever but I don’t feel welcome as a new regular listener, so will only be listening once in a blue moon.”
