Description
Thinking of a career in Psychology? Then let’s get you into graduate school, shall we? Since I have so many undergraduate college student listeners, in this episode I discuss the best ways to prepare for applying to graduate school, by starting early.  We will go through a typical list of what is required in the application process, by using my Alma mater, University of Houston Counseling Psychology program, as an example.  We will cover strategies to make you a better candidate, from the perspective of someone who was on both sides of the application process, as an applicant, and as a reviewer on selection committees.    Part 1 of the episode includes my take on current events, answering listener mail.  Part 2 begins the discussion about applying to graduate school, around 23 minute mark.  Thanks again for listening!   Written transcripts found on my podcast page!   https://drjackchuang.wordpress.com/  Find me via email: [email protected], or  via Twitter, @JACKBTEACHING (I know, that’s clever, right?)  Anonymous suggestion box:   https://pht4g6i9gwi.typeform.com/to/UIfqLwxP  Ways to Support my podcast:  - Please rate and comment on Apple Podcasts or your podcast platform.  - Use Anchor link below for leave voice messages, or monthly support  - PayPal to my username, @JACKYAC       Or via https://paypal.me/jackyac?locale.x=en_US  - Venmo: Username = jackbteaching   All support received goes towards keeping Dr. Chuang caffeinated, and the coffee purchased will be from local, small roasters and coffee shops - so your support will help local small businesses!    Coffee shops I have supported:  https://groundsandhoundscoffee.com/
