“I am a true crime fan, I’ve exhausted every true crime show on 3 different streaming networks. However, the brutal nature of the crimes you guys talk about & the nitty gritty details are sometimes a bit much even for me… I occasionally have to take breaks mid-podcast lol. BUT, you two are so fun to listen to and so informative that I always come back & I’ve enjoyed every episode so far immensely. I also know it sometimes helps podcasters to know how people found their show, I will be dead honest, I stumbled upon you by mistake. Instagram recommended one of Tank’s memes to me & I thought he was hot so I followed him (hey, we love a bald king 👑 🤷♀️), a few days later there was a post about the pod, saw it was true crime & decided to listen, and I was immediately hooked. Investigator Slater’s research and omg the poetic skill in her writing, combined with Tank’s well-timed & well delivered humor and just the general dynamic between you two… it’s fantastic. Excellent podcast, thank you so much for being such a joy to listen to, even with such an intense subject matter! (P.S. turns out Investigator Slater is also, in fact, quite hot 🥵)”
