“Doug and Eddie are good hosts. They really care about the show and put great efforts to bring us weekly rundowns of the NHL. Here are my pros and cons.
Eddie: Total pro when it comes to announcing and discussing hockey. Great pacing, well researched. Eddie flails when it comes to actual important topics. If somebody in the NHL assaults somebody, or something racist happens, Eddie will try to separate from the issue completely. Eddie it’s a podcast. Not Fox Sports. Show support to the people actually suffering instead of being worried who you’ll offend.
Doug: This dude is awesome. I love all the comedy references and honest opinions about everything. Will make an off colored or blue joke every once in a while, but has an amazing heart and you can tell cares.
I’ve been listening for a long time and these are the things I’ve picked up from your big stories. Make a stand and quit trying to hurry past the subject. It happened with “we can play” banana incident, Austin Matthews and now with BLM. I’m proud of Doug for saying the right things.”
