Passion Permitted
From first seeing Into the Woods performed at the Sydney Opera House, and watching Mrs Lovett thrown into the oven at the now demolished Her Majesty’s Theatre I have had a passion for Sondheim. Whether seeing Bernadette Peters in Follies on Broadway or an amateur group do Sunday in the Park with George Sondheim is genius! And this podcast unpicks his works with love and understanding. I thought I knew a lot. I now know I knew nothing. So loving every song and the stories. My love of Sondheim continues to grow by listening to this. Truely continues with the joy of Being Alive.
