This week it’s the turn of Steve and Beth to have their questions answered. Steve wants to know about the use of haber de + infinitive which results in an interesting conversation between JP and Nahyeli involving quotations, dramatic and archaic language. Cue the violins! Beth’s question is about how best to translate “to try to do something”, and our hosts offer some examples using tratar de hacer algo and intentar hacer algo.
