Misinformation
Tom E never lets facts get in the way of a Tom E slant. He stated that Plunkett was traded for draft picks used to select Hannah, Cunningham and Stingley. Perhaps Tom E, who is always right and never wrong (except maybe when he predicted wins for the 2023 Patriots) can explain how the Patriots got 3 1973 1st round draft picks from a 1976 trade to San Francisco? I thought they got draft picks for Pete Brock (76), Tim Fox (76), Raymond Clayburn (77) and Horace Ivory (77 2nd round) plus a backup QB. But what do I know, I was just a dumb season ticket holder in 1977. PS Ty Law’s 2004 season didn’t end with a torn ACL. It ended due to a broken bone on the top of his left foot. You can watch a replay of the game this Thursday afternoon on NFL Network.

QuickSlants is so much more than a breakdown of the blown cover 2 coverage in the third quarter of the Bills game at the 14:02 mark - and how it should have been played. QuickSlants isn't X's and O's boredom but lively banter at its Patriots Best! What it is. Quite funny U will...Read full review »
